Ruth Mergi is an American-Israeli artist and designer living and working in Modiin, Israel. She’s been painting and cutting paper for more than twenty years. She specializes in creating works of hand-cut and laser-cut fine art and ketubahs, while maintaining an independent studio practice. Ruth Mergi is particularly drawn to abstractions, finding some particular appeal in the universal beauty of geometric and organic shapes. She runs a studio developing her collections of beautiful ketubah and wedding vow designs with manager Aly Sharron and social media manager Adrian Garcia.
